Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, I was once known as a "difficult child." My mommy says that's because I'm "gifted." Hmmm...
Obviously, I have an interest in computers. Actually, I am a student at Carleton University for my degree in Computer Science. It's easy to get attention when you're one of the only girls in the class!
I have had many other interests over the years, including involvement in 4H, Girl Guides, CGIT, yearbook, OSAID (Ontario Students Against Impaired Driving), drama, band (concert and jazz), and probably things I can't even remember.
Today, I enjoy my Taekwondo, stickfighting, and kickboxing classes, membership in the Carleton Computer Science Society, and snowboarding trips.
And my kitty is really cute! Her name is Sofie Softail. My dad wanted a bike name, but our previous cat was name Harley. He went through all these weird names but when he hit upon Softail I knew if was perfect. The 'Sofie' was tacked on the front so we had something normal to call her day to day.

But what about motorcycles? I was always the only kid in the family that enjoyed them. Even when I was 20 I still rode with my dad on his bike. I recently got a 2005 Buell Blast so I could ride on my own. Check out the story about my decision to buy it, and the Our Bikes section to find out more!
For now, I'll leave you with a picture of my awesome boyfriend and I on our matching Blasts. Even though he has a Lightning now, he still has Lil' Red, too. Read about him here.
