Ottawa Valley Bike Show 2006
Detroit Brothers
While riding up to the show, we came up to a bike heading the same way on Bank St that turned out to be one of the Detroit Bros. on one of their creations. We rode with him for a kilometre before he turned off to enter the exhibition grounds from the back way. I was surprised by the relative quietness of the radical bike considering the short un-baffled pipes, the whirring of the primary being far more noticeable. Although not the most practical of machines, I never-the-less liked its rough mechanical aggressive look and wouldn't mind having it as a bar hopper. If nothing else, it is defiantly cool.

Other Pro Exhibits

Amateur Custom Bike Competition
On Sunday, it was the cruisers on display. Earlier the sport bike crowd had its turn. I would have preferred to have seen both. I voted for the Yamaha with the flat black paint and hand shifter even though as a HD guy, I should have gone with the rigid framed Springer.

Hooters Bike Wash
Charities, bike washes, and Hooter girls always seem to go together. Andrew gets his Lightning caressed by one of the girls.
