After procrastinating for many years, I finally got around to the monumental task of organizing my significant collection of mostly motorcycle magazines and related documents that were stockpiled in my basement. Although I still have a lot of work in front of me before I can claim total victory, I did achieve one small accomplishment; a box filled with almost a decades worth of Eastern Ontario HOG chapter newsletters. As I flipped through the newsletters while arranging them in order of date, I kept coming across fascinating bits of chapter history. I then thought to myself, wouldn't it be nice to have an easily accessible snapshot of each issue, and then share it with all those interested in seeing how the chapter had evolved. So I hauled up the box to my computer and started to type, and this is what I came up with. For each newsletter, I summarized the contents and highlighted what I considered were the significant chapter I should also point out that the publication of the newsletters was a major under-taking; just ask the volunteers who had taken on the responsibility. So don't be surprised by some of the holes in the timeline as sometimes there would be extended gaps between issues. Of course, my collection is also incomplete. I have yet to rediscover what the boxes of printed material I have stored in the garage contain.

moments and events. I avoided event announcements for the most part, and ignored the non-bike related fluff as well. I also tried to minimize repetitive information.
