Eastern Ontario HOG chapter members like Mike and Liz, Norm, Russ, Joe, and Dwayne to mention just a very few, have over the years made the HOG group special, and a rewarding experience to be part of. As in any organization or club, things may not always go as one wishes, and points of view may sometimes clash, but as with most things in life, it's what you put in and make of it that counts in the end. If I had not been a member, I would have missed out not only on meeting a bunch of great people, but also on the many unique experiences we all had, some of which I have written about here. The chapter also introduced me to the biking community in this part of the province, and provided me with a wealth of information. Whether it was for working on my bike, or about a place where to ride, there was always someone with an answer or suggestion. So thanks to all of you who were part of making the Ottawa chapter such a success, from hard working executives and volunteers, to those who opened their homes for chapter functions. And, of course, thanks especially to John and Joanne, our dealer sponsors, whose continued support had made all the difference. |
